NID STUDIO TEST
NID Studio Test is held at Ahmedabad for 2
days. Students are tested on all aspect of their personality and keenness of
senses. Both Studio test and Interview are equally important for clearing the
entrance exam. Portfolio plays an important role during interview, Your
portfolio is assessed by a panel of experts and faculty conducting the
interview. You have to demonstrate your best piece of creative work through
your portfolio.It talks about your your orientation towards design and presence.

NIFT SITUATION TEST
NIFT Situation Test is held during the last
week of April. Situation Test has 20% weightage, and is an important deciding
factor, in your admission. Students who have applied for Bachelor of
Design Programme are called for Situation Test after clearing their written
test. NIFT Situation Test is held at the various NIFT Centers all across the
country. In NIFT situation test, based on a specific topic or theme, student is
required to create a 3D - Three
dimensional model with various materials given to them.The students are
provided with materials like, candles, ice cream sticks, mount board, color
papers etc...In the given three hours, the students are expected to think out
of box to make a three dimensional model of an object as described in the
design brief.
